The composition of the United States Supreme Court has changed with the recent appointments of a justice and the Chief Justice. Changes in the Court affect its decision making and impact the law for years to come.

This presentation looks at the changes in the Court since the appointment of Chief Justice Roberts. The beginning and the end of the 2007-2008 session are reviewed ranging from employment and business law to sentencing individual rights. Comparative outcomes of the 2007-2008 decisions are discussed including patterns of dissent.

The presentation lasts for 50 minutes with at least 10 minutes for direct questions.

We have made this presentation most recently to the Asheville Area Paralegal Association.
